THE
ART OF HUMOR GALLERY
Skip
Morrow first won international acclaim as a cartoonist with his
best selling I HATE CATS BOOK series in 1980 that sold hundreds of thousands
of copies worldwide. He has since published a over a dozen books,
sold millions of greeting cards throughout North America an Australia,
and has been commissioned by
major corporations to apply his warped sense of humor to numerous
advertising campaigns.
He
has lived in Wilmington, Vermont since 1974.
The
Art of Humor Gallery was created to showcase many of Morrow's notoriously
bizarre originals and prints for the eclectic collector, and as
a comprehensive walk-through portfolio for patrons, art students
and commercial clients. It is open by appointment and is only five
minutes from the center of the Village of Wilmington, Vermont.
The
gallery is situated in a beautiful setting attached to the studio
/ home compound of the artist. Occasionally, visitors are invited
beyond the gallery to tour Skip's studio. The fifteen acre property
is creatively landscaped with beautiful perennial gardens, a courtyard,
stone terraces, groomed walking trails, and one of the most amazing
tree houses you could hope to find anywhere!
