Buying the Christmas Tree

Buying the Christmas Tree, an 11 x 21 inch, ink and watercolor original, was one of Skip Morrow's original drawings for the many Christmas cards he had published. This vibrant piece features a long line of cars, each carrying joyful families with Christmas trees tied to their hoods. The bare, snow-covered hills studded with hundreds of pointed stumps and only a few remaining trees evoke Skip's wry sense of humor, juxtaposing the fate of the unfortunate trees with the excitement of the family members.
